Finally got my Velar back from the shop and I'm honestly blown away

Okay so I know I've been lurking around here for a while asking endless questions about paint correction and whether ceramic coating is actually worth the hype, so I figured I owed it to you guys to share how things turned out with my 2020 Velar in Carpathian Grey. Long story short, I had a nasty encounter with a shopping cart that left a pretty deep scuff on the rear passenger door, and instead of just touching it up and calling it a day, I decided to go all in and get the whole car sorted properly since the paint was starting to look a bit tired anyway with all those fine swirls from the previous owner. I spent ages researching different shops around Abu Dhabi and reading through countless threads here, and I finally settled on a place that came highly recommended by a few members in this very forum. The team there were super transparent about the whole process, they explained exactly what stages they'd be doing and even sent me progress photos along the way which I really appreciated because I'm that annoying customer who wants to know everything that's happening to their car. When I went to pick it up yesterday afternoon, I honestly didn't expect to be that impressed because I've seen plenty of detailed cars before and sometimes the difference is subtle, but this was something else entirely. The depth of the gloss is just ridiculous, like the kind of wet look you normally only see in promotional photos, and even my wife who usually couldn't care less about cars actually commented on how good it looked without me prompting her. The guy walked me around the car with his inspection light and pointed out every single panel, showing me how the correction had removed all those pesky spider webs and even reduced the appearance of a couple of stone chips on the bonnet that I thought were there for good. I was so pleased with the outcome that I've already recommended them to a mate who drives a Sport, and I'm seriously considering taking my wife's car in for a similar treatment once the budget allows. If you're on the fence about getting your Range sorted, honestly just go for it because the difference in how the car looks and feels is night and day, and the peace of mind knowing the paint is properly protected against our brutal summer sun is worth every dirham. For anyone curious about where I ended up going, I found all the details and their contact info over at https://exoticcarcare.ae/range-rover-detailing-abu-dhabi/ and I can't fault a single thing about the experience from start to finish, which is rare for me because I'm usually quite picky about this sort of thing. Anyway, just wanted to share my positive experience in case anyone else is considering taking the plunge, and if you've got any questions about the process or what to look out for when choosing a detailer, feel free to ask because I learned a fair bit along the way.
